MBB Drop Two in Park Hills, MO

The Fort Scott Community College men's basketball team dropped a pair of games over the weekend in Park Hills, MO. The Greyhounds lost 75-41 on Friday against Vincennes University then lost 74-49 to Mineral Area College on Saturday.

In the first game on Friday night against Vincennes University, the Greyhounds were hanging around in the first half and trailed by only 10 at 36-26 but the Trail Blazers pulled away in the second half outscoring the Greyhounds 39-15 en route to the victory.

Tyler Zinn was the only player in double figures for FSCC as he finished the game with 22 points on seven of 17 shooting. Daemar Jones chipped in with seven points.

In the second game on Saturday against Mineral Area College, both teams struggled offensively early with FSCC trailing 23-14 at the half but both teams would pick things up but Mineral Area College outscoring the Greyhounds 51-35 in the second half.

Mineral Area College posted four players in double figures in the victory over Fort Scott Community College.

The pair of losses drop the Greyhounds to 5-5 overall and the men are back in action on Friday and Saturday in Parsons with games against Oklahoma Wesleyan JV and Louisiana Christian Academy.
