The Fort Scott Community College football team dropped to 0-3 this season with a 63-6 loss at #7 Iowa Western on Saturday under the lights in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The Reivers didn't waste any time in the first quarter hanging up 34 points on their way to a 57-0 halftime advantage.
The Greyhounds lone touchdown came on a short run in the third quarter by running back Raishod Devezin. The Iowa Western offense picked up 33 first downs and racked up 604 yards of total offense, including 299 rushing yards. The Reiver's quarterback combo of Kai Locksley and reigning NJCAA offensive player of the week Kurt Walding combined to complete 15 of 23 passes for 284 yards and two touchdowns. Jacob Zachary led the rushing attack with 23 carries and 121 yards with two touchdowns.
The Greyhounds get two weeks off before returning to action on Saturday September 30th at home against Coffeyville.
